Outreach Opportunities

There are a number of opportunities in our parishes for you to share your time and talents!

Work in Progress Includes:
  • Pro Life Committee (Coming Soon - Watch for Details!)
  • Separated, Divorced, Remarried
  • St. Vincent DePaul Society

We collected over 1200 new and "gently used" children's books to contibute to the Books are Wings Project. Thank you for your generosity!

We need you! We are looking for volunteers to help out in all areas with our GIFT program. Download a copy of the volunteer form here.

Shaw’s Market is now also offering us rebates for the receipts we submit. Please save your receipts from both Clements’ Marketplace and Shaw’s Market. Collection baskets are located at each church entrance. Just drop them off when you come to Mass. You can’t believe how the dollars add up, just from saving those little scraps of paper.

MINISTERS TO THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND NEEDED
It is indeed a unique privilege to serve members of the parish as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion. The parish’s presence through the minister to the sick and homebound is a particular sign of their dignity as members of the Body of Christ. The Communion minister is in a unique position to bring hope and comfort to those who may find little in life to comfort them. Do you feel that you would like to minister to the sick and the homebound as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion? If you answer YES, please contact Father Peter...This is for both parishes.
POST ABORTION OUTREACH
The following ministries are available for those who seek emotional and spiritual healing from an abortion experience:
Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats: A weekend retreat that provides participants an opportunity to process their pain and sorrow, to form a spiritual connection with their child (ren), to experience the compassion and forgiveness of Jesus and to begin a journey toward healing.
Healing the Wounded Heart: A support group that deals with the emotional and spiritual conflicts associated with an abortion.
Project Rachel: A Ministry of healing and reconciliation comprised of one-on-one sessions with a priest who will welcome and counsel in a prayerful atmosphere of respect and sensitivity.
All requests are strictly confidential. For more information or to register contact Kristin Caproni (401)421- 7833, ext. 119, or send an email.

Our NEW Youth Group for Teens meets on Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 at St. Theresa.

We are looking for adults who would like to help out with this group. Please Contact Jen Jackson at St. Theresa (624-8746) for more info.

yarn T.C. Knitters: Share your knitting, crocheting, or crafting talents in our Knit for Kids project. We meet on a regular basis to work on projects or you can also complete projects on your own. We will be sending our donations to a variety of great causes. For more information see Agnes Martins.

Volunteers needed: We are looking for a few more volunteers to sell grocery cards after the 11:00 Mass once a month. If you can help, please call the rectory or give your name and phone number to Father Peter.
